Evo 3 o2 housing

I just wanted to make sure with other people that this is a real evo 3 o2 housing. Would I have to shave off that part that sticks out to fit it up to my 3-inch 02 housing?

Yea, it took me a minute to find them as well. $99 for the EVO o2 housing is an awesome deal. Jon basically sells them at the cost he gets them from Mitsu.

I also had to grind off the part circled in red in order to get a ratchet extension through to take one of the exhaust manifold nuts off.

that lil nub circled in red, is that an EVO thing, or are all the mitsu o2's like that? I got an extra O2 here and not sure if its an EVOIII O2 or just a 2g...

This is an EVO VIII O2 housing.

It will not be able to work with the 1g or 2g vehicles.

Every Evo III O2 housing I have seen has had that nub.
