I will be installing an Evo 3 manifold on my 2g. After I remove EGR stuff and block it off. I am looking for a way to not throw a CEL. I'm using v3 and was told about a file out there OBD2 good however finding a little trouble finding it? Also open to other ideas that would allow me to not throw a CEL and pass NYS inspection as well thanks

Using v3 you can keep the ECU from throwing a CEL after removing the emissions. Connect to your ECU then open ECU config live settings, click on the DTC tab, then uncheck the EGR/MDP/Evap box.

Thanks. And will there be any issues getting car inspected with that box un checked ?
The SMOG shop cant tell if the box is checked or not, this issue will be created from you removing your emissions. The SMOG shop will visually check for EGR/Evap equipment and also plug up a OBD II readiness tester, which will also show incomplete, since you don't have it.

OBD II readiness is a part of SMOG. There is no way to have ECMLink pass OBD II readiness checks, that would be against Federal (EPA) laws. Depending on your state laws you only have to pass a certain number of OBD readiness checks to pass.
