Evo 3 intake manifold question about MDF

So i finally got my hands on an evo 3 intake mani and to clarify the ports are the same as a 2g. I have not done any measurements to get exact runner size, but it fits my 2g gasket fine. So if i eliminate my egr do i need my mdf? Doesn't the mdf just read to if egr is working correctly? If i do need it what should i do. I know dsmparts.com sells an adaptor kit so the cyclone can be used, can i use this? Thoughts anyone.

You mean the MDP (manifold differential pressure) sensor? If so, then no you don't need it.

So should i disconnect it or will that give me a check engine light, or should i just let it hang to the side.
