evo 3 exhaust manifold questions, please help!

Okay, i have an evo 3 exhaust manifold at my house with a t-28 killer on the way. I bought a die grinder with all intentions of removing the step on the evo 3 manifold, but.... i have these questions..

1. Without the metal ring gasket that goes in the exhaust manifold, will the manifold seal to the turbo properly and will it stay sealed? or should i not port it and buy a 7cm metal gasket ring?

2. Do i need to buy a 7cm gasket? or do i just widen the stock one? If i am correct mine is a 6cm.

Good god. People still have that little ring that sits in with the manifold and turbine? Ditch it. Port match your manifold and buy a 7 cm gasket for it.

I am porting the step tomorrow since you were disgusted with the idea of the ring gasket... Now i want to be disgusted too!.. damn gasket!

i got mine from sbr... 7cm. i love being able to drive to sbr same day and grab any parts i need for an install.... ok im done rubbing it in.
Try ebay, some times SBR runs some sales on ebay especially on gaskets.
