Evo 3 16g compressor wheel

Well i got a evo3 16g from a buddy that has compressor wheel damage and i have been trying to find a replacement. I know Forced Performance sells them, but i cant stomach paying 180 bucks for one, when i just got a MHI small 16g wheel last year for 60.......I found this one on Ebay

its a PITA when the wheels hit the housing, Its a gamble, if it hits there is a possiblity that it can be used and there is a possibility that it cant. I took the chances on one MHI turbo i had, it hit the housing, but barely, I rebuilt it and it boosted great. If it reaches the point where the turbo is constantly grinding on the housing then you wont want to chance it. I cant see the intake wheel as being a wheel spot on the turbo, the main part to always break on cheap or factory turbos is Always the shaft. The ebay turbos shaft is not heat treated and some factory turbos are just made too small for boost.

yeah i dont want to chance it with the pieces missing. While its off the car, i want to repair it. Its not the shaft, its just the compressor wheel on the ebay auction.

Those are not Genuine Mitsu wheels, obviously; a Mitsu Evo III 16G wheel could be purchased for $120-$130 from any turbo parts dealer.

I don't see how any compressor wheel could be "bad" unless it wasn't balanced properly. The wheel may be heavier than a MHI wheel or the blades may be thicker, but as long as it is sized correctly it would work fine.
