Can you please elaborate? A lot of people say stock ignition can support a good amount of HP - And it looks like you are probably out of that category. Would this system be more reliable by RPM if planning to spin to 9000+ rpm

Well the stock ignition wasn't cutting it for me. Although I am running 12 to 1 compression ration motor boosting 30 to 40 psi. In this video i was boosting 28 psi and breakup was not good at all. Spark tech solved it all. It's not your ordinary cop system that's for sure

This unit has its own everything, it controls it's own dwell time and the trigger wires directly into the ecu eliminating all stock ignition components all together! It's one of a of a kind unit. I have the pro 12 m & w cdi box for wasted spark.

Oh yeah you and Dwight had actually broke down the preferred/correct way to setup a COP to me years ago. As usual I follow your progress closely just wish I was blessed with the flexibility to go through this platform as thoroughly as you and others have been doing over the years. Its exciting!
Guess next upgrade will be ignition if I plan to go 36plus psi

Finally after too many inadequate clutches keltalon purchased twin disc. Quarter master 8 leg with street disc and competition fork. With the low gears the torque to the wheels is just too much for a single disc application. okay I am curious, let see!

Me too. Here is what I did on the that slipping clutch a week ago boost 32 psi I am going back when twin disc is broken in for a 40psi run now this s should be interesting, for I am curious.

honestly that disc failure looks just like toms over on ecmlink. no signs of abuse, over heat, or slip. looks like friction material just fell off. another case of why its not a good idea to remove balance shafts. especially on 2.3 engines. engine harmonics do attack parts.

it is my opinion only. once you ditch the factory fly there is no fly mass to absorb the energy. those 11-12lb flys are a bad idea when you arent running balance shafts. jacks transmissions has a good write up on why its not a good idea to remove balance shafts. many think it hogwash. I have seen everything he warns about and then some. on evo 8 platform syncros are wearing out in as little as 500 miles.

I still have mine and i will not remove them . i was always against that . if you maintain your car you shouldn't have a problem with them . there is enough vibration from your solid motor mounts you don't need anymore and vibrations do cause problems .

I respects everyone's opinion but i also have mine. I should have gone twin disc long time ago. I am well out of the torque range of the act IMO its rated at 550ish. but at any rate well see what the twin does.

Dude guys like shep went 8's with lots of nitrous (torque) on a 3200 with a street disc, and they would last an entire race weekend, even on slicks. A 3200 and 6 puck is good for like 700+ ft lbs.

when I first installed the 3200 it held like a charm pulled my neck back and all the awd wonders no slip. But eventually it all stop in short order. My car is driven daily shep was a 1/4 mile at a time maybe that's the difference. But I do know this the clutch is trashed after 2 weeks and it's time to move forward. If you like the act then that's great please do enjoy but I myself must Imove forward. Stay tuned.

Well if it wasn't slipping just imagine what it would have backhalfed . The video up top of the destroyed act was pull days after that track run clearly it was horrible. That's why I say stay tuned!

dont want to insult your skills, but I wonder if you timed your shafts correctly. I agree with others. you werent over powering the friction material. so something caused a premature failure. there is no sign of heat or slip from the pics.
