Everyone's most UNIQUE mod...

I'd have to say my Ralph Wiggum sticker on my rear side window (the one that he's eating paste) I live in an area that has so many ricers and they see this and laugh, but the stop after they see my taillights ahead of them

I would say my most unique mod is my fender. I'm not sure if any of you have this done or not. But I go the idea from a friend w/ a white gti. Since my right front fender and door collided I had to purchase a new fender. Becuase everytime the passenger door would open it would push the fender in. So i found a fender at the carlise car show for 40$. So then i lined it up with the factory fender. Marked where the air filter general location was, and cut out about a 3" by 3" hole in the fender. Took a section of a hood grill from an 87 cabirolet.(the hood had a grill type thing near the windshield). Cut that down to size. Welded it on the inside of the fender. sanded it down. got it painted and it works and looks great. Its almost a Z3 style look except its near the front of the car and 100% functional and slight notice in performance

that sounds awesome, its a permanent and not bad lookin mod for takin out the headlight at the track. i wanna see some pics man!! good work

I think this picture at the beginning of this post is nothing more then a good photoshop job, look real close and you can still see the door crack by the mirror and some smugges by the sideskirts, and look...there aren't even any headlights...WOW... CMON!!! we aren't that dumb...

I've always liked how my MBC is mounted to the fan housing. My brother-in-law thought of that, and I've never seen anybody else's attached like it.

Yeah I hate it when people just zip-tie a hardware store vacuum valve anywhere they can...

Oh well-- I had never seen any others like it myself. I guess I don't get out much . And I had asked about that kind of mount before in other threads and nobody ever replied. No biggie-- I still like it. I really didn't think mine was the only one anyway, but like I said, I just had never personally seen any others. With the popularity of these cars and the fact that they've been around for more than 12 years now, it's almost impossible to come up with something that hasn't been done or tried already.

There's plenty of stuff to do that's original. Just b/c someone did it on the other side of the planet doesn't mean that it's not original... hell, I would bet there's an alien on some planet out somewhere that has a 900whp DSM out there running 4s.... but for now, it's original to run 9s

Even tho we have the same MBC and mounting place, I mounted mine on the pass side fan, so right hand fan is that more original Keep up the modding... we're all having fun anyways

A little late for me to drop in on the thread but... I have a Blue High PSI Racing MBC and a Blue High PSI Racing catch can. I Painted my Cruise control box and Brake resivour bracket (the thing was rusting like crazy!)

its not installed yet, its sitting at my desk. i was gonna put it in a few days ago before i took it to the shop but im sure it would have confused the guy. so instead, the new plan is to wait for my tsi and ill put it in that. heres a pic of what it looks like in a nother car, i found this at nopionline.com..........

well, no, my brother is bascially gonna be doing all the work. when it comes to wires, i dont do so great. it wont take long, an hour maybe.

the tiburons' cigarette lighter is concealed and you need to push open a little black piece and it folds down and the lighter sits there, its actually pretty cool, but im saving the install for my talon.

if you're interested i know of a website that gives you a "how2" on installing it.
