Ugly or unique????

OMG those are terrible, whats wrong with the stock? rememeber your car will be unique just like everyone elses.

well guys, unique or not... they are certainly ugly, j/k... it's what ever you like, i'd like to see someone paint the inside housing whatever their color of their car is, it MIGHT look ok? anyways, they are out on ebay right now, and it looks like they are getting lots of bids! LOL peace

you have never seen these before? uhh they are rip-off RSX tail lights. Honda made them from the factory, and now you wanna put them on your car.

ugh. some days I just wanna kill myself.

they look pretty good minus the center piece, im not an altezza guy myself, now it they had a carbon fiber housing or even black that would be the shizzle my dizzles

my friend is getting them for his laser. I told him to just get eclipse tails, a talon wing, talon front, and leave the rest laser, and remove all badging and get badges that say DSM. He won't do it tho.

Your pic made me lose it....Yuk

If anyone is interested in alteessa lights (spelling?) I can help you make your own.
I have been involved with Plastic prototyping for 35 years.

Simply remove the current factory outer lenses buy heating them in the oven to about 300 degrees for about 5-10 minutes. Keep a constant watch on them for heat distortion.
Then pry the red factory lense off and use the factory lense to create a mold.
If you need assistance in doing this you can look at the following website for instructions.
http://www.waaagh.net/casting/
once you have practiced on some simpler molds, ou should have the concept down and be able to do this your self . the same site has casting hints. e-mail me if you need to have some help. [email protected]

well..i have a gen 1...and just don't like the factory's....so...anything would b better....
there's something about the gen 1 eclipse rear end...that SUCKS.

well im not into the altezza thing myself, but if people want to put them on their cars why not let them without jumping in their crap with the rice comments? and on the note of rice, DSMs are considered domestics, in my area if you have an talon or a laser you can race in the domestic or import class (you cant do that in an eclipse because they say mitsubishi on them). and besides werent they made in illinois or something? i dunno why that sticks out in my mind but i remember hearing that. i still think that its funny that there are probably more american made parts on my eclipse than are on any late model ford or chevy. ok i think im done.

Hey Exploited............are you still going to get the taillights??? Just wondering. For future reference man............just don't ask for people's opinions on anything that could be considered ricey. This term is funny to me because I don't agree with it. I like to make my car fast and I like to make it look good. Problem is what looks good is too radically different for everybody to agree on the same thing. It is kind of like asking is Pamella Anderson Lee is better looking than Halle Berry or is a Lamborghini Murcielago better looking than a Ferrari 360 Modena???
I have an APR GTI wing on my Talon and I get looks with it all the time. I get comments like "oh damn... my that is so sweet!", but then I get "man that is f$%%ed up". I get a little pissed off with the negative comments, but when you want a different look that goes with the territory. I say get them and be different, but don't be ridiculous enough to expect everybody to love your uniqueness. Everybody does not look through to the world with the same eyes.

Not to change the subject or anything but where around Cleveland are you from? I live in Medina.
