What about all the guys/girls out there with :dsm: that are not f**ked up???? I think its about time that we gave these cars some praise. so lets hear it for our DSMs and how long its been treating you well....:rocks:

159,??? miles

This is with 154 compression across the board!!!!! I had the car for 4 years w/mods and had to only replace the slave cylinder(burnout dont help)LOL I was driving 175 mile to and from school every weekend and the car never left me down!! I never had to call a tow truck.
All and all treat the car right and it will treat you right

I had my Eclipse NT for about about 4 years. One day the car died on me in the middle of the road, kept trying to get it to turn, it wouldn't. Luckily I was within walking distance to work. So I pushed it into the nearest parking lot, and came back later. It still wouldn't start, but I kept trying for about 5 minutes... I literally begged my car "oh baby don't do this to me..." then it miraculously started!. So I drove it to the nearest garage. It died in the parking lot, and wouldn't start again... this time more permanent. What luck that I actually made it there.

The shop diagonosed it pretty quick.. Full Pump Relay was shot... so they called me up, I authorized repairs, and got it back that afternoon. $50 for the diagonosis, $30 for a freakin' relay I could've got myself for $10.

Wait a sec before you say "gosh see what I mean? Complaints!", I'm getting to my point....

4 years daily driving, only 1 morning of downtime. I'll let you judge if thats pretty damn reliable or not.
