General Euro 2G 4G63 N/A with Turbo ECU?

Hey,
Local guy got 2G GS and he wants to turbo his engine. It's 4G63 N/A. He wants to buy from me my 50 trim, FIC 850s, the whole setup. Target 300WHP.

So we wants to put the OEM turbo pistons and rods inside his N/A block with cometic and ARPs.

How to check the ECU? The is 98year, so no EPROM. Do we need get turbo ECU harness and turbo ECU or just simply we can put turbo ECU with custom chip on N/A ECU harness?

There's no such thing as a 2G GS non turbo with a 4G63.....not even in other countries. 1998's had the 420A 2.0 engine. Try looking in the 420A section of this site.

European 2g N/T was available with the 4g63. Research before posting. This has been covered time and time again on this very website.

Without having any hands on experience with an EDM DSM, I am unsure of the differences. If it is like a USDM 1g, you can add wiring for the knock sensor and MAS to the stock harness. The turbo ECU is plug and play for the 1g conversion. If you can locate pinouts for the EDM turbo and N/T cars, you can compare and see if it is the same.

I assume that they would also need the wiring changes for the injector resistor so they could run the turbo low impedance injectors.

The 420A is the scourge of the DSM world. Too bad all 2GNT's didn't get the NA 4G63.

Its 4G63 NT engine.... thats the fact..
If its only wire knock sensor into Turbo ECU.. No problem..
as for MAF .. that car got stock Maf from factory..(maybe don´t understand..sorry..:coy: )
What about rest of el. sensors.. should work stock N/A ... ??
To run engine we need only TPS with ISC,MAF,crank pos sensor and cam pos sensor...of course inj low. imp. resistor..
