92 4g63 turbo ecu in 89 4g61

I sold my old ecu out of my 92 tsi to a guy with an 89 mirage (4g61 motor with the 11b). He said he's having idle problems so I was wondering what pins he has to switch and if those ecus are even interchangeable.
 
That link show it working from a 1990 into a 1991 and up dsm ecu not a completely diferent motor,Im not sure if taht will help?

read it closely:cool: "I now sell a small tach adapter, which will convert the 1990-style tach pulses to work with a 1991+ ECU", you still need to swap pins 6 and 14 when using a 1991+ ECU in your 1990 DSM
 
I didnt know that the 89 mirage was called a 1990 dsm thats all Im saying LOL.Diffrerent motor and turbo and still wrong year.

Even though they have a completly diffrerent motor?i know the EVO guys are using dsm ecu's but thats still a 4g63 plant same liter size and all.But I guess It can be done then.

The 4g61 is a replica of of the 4g63, almost everything is the same but the only thing different with the 4g61 is that it's 1.6 instead of a 2.0, 4g61 and 4g63 parts are compatible to use

We call them CSMs.They ecu will run a little lean .As the stock 4G61 injectors are 390cc's.Also the MAF has the lower half covered.The 61 has no BS.Where do you think the OEMs BS removal kit come from?
