Hi guys.
I searched for it and didnt find anything about it.

Im looking to get a FMIC for my 92 Laser, but I dont know witch one to get sinse I dont know the difference between this 2 FMIC.

Its the ETS street/strip FMIC kit or the Punishment Racing 8" FMIC kit.

What is the difference between this too intercoolers, witch one is better, more recomended, easier to install, and all that??????

Thanks.

Well if nothing else, we're only about 45 minutes from where you live :) Honestly though, the performance, craftsmanship and fitment are second to none on our kit which is 100% hand made by our awesome team. We can build the kit around any BOV, MAF/MAFT, throttle body, intake manifold, piping color or turbo configuration for this reason. Our intercoolers are also completely interchangeable if your setup grows in the future and you want a larger core and with the 1G the hot side piping is configured to fit both the 14B/16G
setup as well as T3/T4 turbos with what's included in the box at no additional charge. We're happy to send single pipes if you change BOVs, TBs, IMs or anything else and because we believe so strongly in the quality of our product, warranty our products for life. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to get a hold of me by PM, E-mail or phone to discuss the options. I look forward to the opportunity!

Well... I can vouch for ETS their FMIC is one of the best out there. The fitment is excellent, craftsmanship is excellent. 10 out of 10

Oh..yeah forgot mention my profile pick shows the ETS 10" kit, it fills up the hole opening and then some.

i 2nd ets i have ther gvr4 kit on my car the fitment is awesome and everything is high quality couplers piping t bolt clamps everything. my kit is also in my avatar pic.

I have a Punishment FMIC and it is awsome and cost only 500...
But if you dont want to modify some shit on your car, dont go for it.

I just got my ets street kit. Haven't got it completly installed yet, but so far everything looks great. Got the intercooler mounted and it goes on with ease. The customer service is great also.

Well.. ETS it is.

I as looking at my budys talon and he has the ETS FMIC, they look so good, and fit so nice.
And they are 45min away from my house.
hahahaha

thanks guys.

ETS.

I just upgraded my core (7" tall ets street core to 10.5" tall 4" thick ETS ultra race core).... Damn what an improvent JUST from cores alone. go big!

im going BIG
im going from a stock side mount with rubber hoses to a street/strip with aluminum tubing.
hahahahaha

I cant just put a huge racing intercooler now for 2 resons
1- not enough mods to need one
2- not enough money
:D

Sounds like ONE reason to me.. Not enough money... Either way you will be satisfied whichever one you choose. Let us know how it goes! :dsm:

as soon as I getill post it here and some pics too, and as soon I get installed ill post it too.
its probably gonna be by the end of the month if eveything go as planed.

I vote for the punishment racing fmic kit, because we are super awesome and stuff:p

ETS kit (i was told) fits better. With punish you need a custom throttle body pipe if you have ABS, and fitment is not good. I have the punish kit, its nice, great throttle response car pulls A LOT harder and its short route. When calling punish for help or questions i got great help right away no bs

I was thinking about the punish kit because of the price, but ill stick with the ETS, heard a lot good things about their kit, and they are 40 min away from my house.
:D

Ill post some pics after I buy it and install it.
:thumb:

you've already installed it?
Any lag? Does it allow for more boost on your current tune?
You should put some pics. :thumb:

Yeah, only mod I installed so far. Didn't notice any more lag. Boost did seem to hit harder, and the car did feel a lot stronger. I haven't tried any tuning yet, but at 22-21psi and low 11 AFR's it felt nice. Pics, looks like just any other core... hahLOL I'll have to take a good one when the bumper's off.

Its not cold anymore your slacking, everyones DSM is going to be a second faster before you even get that thing on with the new bumpsticks. LOL

Soon, I let my friend borrow my new turbo bolts, so he needs to get me some more then I'll put the manifold on. I want 11's on stock cams first too:) I'm about to go do some datatlogs now I think, BBL.
