Alright, I recently just put a not new but different engine in my 93 N/T 2.0 eclispe. Completely the same as the original with a few extra miles tacked onto it. On the first test after installed it idled fine between 800-1000rpms then after a few seconds it jumped to 2k then back down to 1k, and continues to speed up the warmer it gets. Then when accelerated it has about a 2 second delay and holds for about 2 seconds once the pedal is release. I've checked and changed the TPS and checked for vacuum leaks and so far nothin, but I will say when the TPS was changed both symptoms improve slightly. Any help would be great, thank you.

MAF is clean, but ECM was acting like it was fried because no matter what sensor was disconnected no check engine light would come on so replaced it but still no change still not reading that sensors are disconnected. Any ideas to what that's about?

I'd check the wire harness to the ECU and make sure none of the wires are bad. It's really the only thing I can think of, if I can think of something else I'll let you know. Good luck.
