ok, today i set out to figure out why my car is so sluggish. i knew my tb shaft seals were leaking so we took my throttle body apart and i cleaned it up and replaced the seals. all is golden (i havent ran another boost leak test since, but im assuming they're working fine). first time when i started it after that, my idle was anywhere between 1600-2000rpms. now its down around 1200-1500rpms. i figured maybe my biss got thrown off or something so i grounded the plugs mentioned in the vfaq and started the car and my base idle was right on. WTF. any clue whats wrong with that?

on top of that, my car is still sluggish. when i accelerate normally, its kinda sluggish but when i get into the boost its even worse, just feels like all my power isnt going into it, and its really jerky. its most noticeable in lower gears too :notgood: im gonna do my fuel filter tomorrow but im out of ideas on what all it could be. any clues?

Check your plugs/wires, and make sure to do another boost leak test. Make sure to let us know how that pans out :)

I'm going to agree with Jeremoose on this one. I'm willling to bet your sluggishness problem will go away with some new plugs and wires.

If you have enough $ replace the plugs and wires. If not, then plugs first then wires.

Might fix your problem,
Ryan

tomorrow while we're doin that filter im gonna pull my plugs, clean em up and gap em to get me by til my plugs/wires come in. i was hoping that might be it too.

ill do fuel filter, clean that stuff up, and run another boost leak test tomorrow and let u know :thumb:
