will a 93 eprom work with a 90 wiring harness? dont think it will but hoping im wrong!

i found a 93 eprom for 100 that has new capasitors and want to get it unless i find a 90. what wires need to be changed? for it to work im pretty good with wiring. my car is a 91 but I had to put a 90 harness and ecu in it.

Since your car is now a mutt the only person that can answer what will work is you.
There are two issues to think about and address.

The '90 ECU wiring harness (and '90 ECU) has pins 6 and 14 swapped compaired to the latter cars. These are the signal wires for the Idle Position Switch and the MAF Reset and since the pins can easily be removed and switched in the connector a simple problem to deal with.
You just have to figure out if you are currently using the '90 pinout or the '91+.

The other issue is where the tach signal is being generated.
The '90 harness would support it coming from the coil pack rather than the power transistor module. If your using a 91+ PTM either ECU will work.
