i recently pulled a 95 eprom ecu from a 1995 gst , when i pulled the cover off the ecu i come to find out that the ecu has been socketed, i need to know if the eprom chip thats in the socket is a stock chip or an upgrade, there was a sticker on the chip that said " EC 95 TBO -(this was hand written in pen), and the permanent writing on the chip itself said
" TMS (w/little texas state pic symbol) 27c512-2JL blue 9201"

thanx

When I sent my ECU out to get the chip swapped @ dsmlink, the old stock chip had a mitsubishi logo on there. There is a recent thread around here that has a picture of it, I don't remember which one though.
