what year 1g's came with eprom ecu's??

i believe its all years for 1gs but not every car came with it

i'm getting a 1993 Talon TSi AWD....just wondering if this was gonna have an eprom ecu with it or not....sorry, should've specified earlier

i know for a fact that it was never swapped out of the car whatsoever, its been owned by some 40 year old guy, and he told me straight up he hasn't swapped out his ecu...so did 93 tsi awd (5spd) come with an eprom ecu at all?

yes it did but like falcone4g63 said the only way to check is to open it up

some did some didnt, thats the case with all 1g ecu's... my 1990 didnt come with an eprom'ed ecu, but the new one i bought from the dealer for my car (told them the year and everything) is eprom... i think all the new ecus from the dealer are eprom... and some of the 1gs had them, some didnt... its like asking, if i toss this coin will it land on heads? maybe......
