Well heres my delema, I am looking to go and buy a new engine, I reilize it would be cheaper to get the Pistons and rods and get my crank done but I dont have a machine shop down here to prep my block for the pistons and rods. I was really looking into the SBR shortblocks and was wondering what you guys would rather have and why, Stoker/2.0/2.1(destroked) I have no problem with money. I need it for daily driver/weekend track, and a winter car as well. I have no problem with my block, I really just want to step it up so I can have that extra streagth. I plan on breaking in the motor with my 16g, and then I will completely change my whole setup. I just finished cleaning my WHOLE undercarage(Its nice and shiny now, can you say toothbruch!!ROFL fun) I think Im going to coat it with ryno liner idk yet but if anyone wants pics just ask. I am going to prep the whole car and make it ready for a new setup. the body has 190 on it and it makes me depressed everytime i hear that, I would love to get a new shell if anyone has one for sale or to give away I will treat it like a god heh(pm if you do please Sorry bout not putting in Classfields). well sorry for getting off topic just thought I would touch upon that, maybe someone can help. To add to the block, What head should I get. I realize some of these motors can rev to 10k heh pritty crazy. What head/cams would work best with the one you pic. Im basicly just looking for good ideas and I will choose from there. You guys can go crazy think of this as you own setup!!

What I need to know:

-Block
-Head(all parts doesnt have to come from SBR)
-Cams
-Turbo???
-Injectors???
-Tune? dsm link? or Aem?

Or is there anyplace I can send my block/crank out to get bored and cleaned up? and I will install the internals?

Thanks alot anything would be great, I am going to read up as much as I can about the motors and try to see what one is best for me, but I think this will help alot more, any info on them would be fantasic, Thanks guys!!:D

do me a favor, re-read your post and tell me if you see if your see the conclusion/question. and post it.

all what you just said really means nothing to us without mentioning your goals or budget.
so lets start with that. whats your goals and budget for this project
 
-Money not a problem
-Need to be a Daily driven car/track car
-Best power range/good idle
-12sec timeslip would make me happy.
-All I want to know is what you would get for a Block/head/cams whats a good combo if you had the money and were looking for this goal.

I want a built engine for the future, I do plan on putting a bigger turbo, and change the setup.
What I really am plain on doing is either stripping my car, or getting a shell and leaving in my garge and build the motor and clean the WHOLE shell and make the chassie as good as new, new axles exex, fix everything, then I will have a motor being built on the side. And once I get all my parts fmic injectors, Everything! I will install the motor and get it ready for track.
I am plaing on selling my car, I dont like the 190k on the body even though the block only has 90k on it, I bought the car off somone with some of the work and alot of it was hacked. so I really dont like it, I cant deal with shit work that was hacked in. I want to basicly build up a shell and get it 100% clean and perfect, I have ocd and I need stuff clean, As I stated I Clean my whole underbody, and when I say clean its Friggin clean LOL.

Do you understand where im coming from?
