Engine Whine, boost related

The car whines, sounds related to boost. I checked the turbo, not a lot of shaft play so im confused, There is probably a 10 of and inch side to side and none in and out, car seems to have power okay and doesnt make the sound till 5psi. I gave it some hard runs on the dyno last night it may have expired my turbo but i would think it would show damage. please post. thanks- Brandon

turbo is fine, i found the problem, when i was checking for boost leaks i didnt push the pipe that connects to the turbo close enough in the coupler to each other. Pushed them together and the sound is gone.
