Alright, so I have the hks carbon ti exhaust and i scraped the crap out of it :cough: a few times :cough: :cough: backing up into the curb in the parking lot for my apt's well last night i wanted to check how bad i scraped it and i notice that on the edge of the canister closest to the exhaust tip there was a small leak! Now, do you guys think that this leak is going to rob me of any performance? and if so can i just use some exhaust seal on there to plug it up even though it is carbon fiber?

okay, i know long post sorry OMG , well i had to get a smog check done and had to go stock, when i put my air box and stock bov back on i punched it and my boost gauge only went up to 11psi (understandable) my car studdered and threw a check engine light, i drove normal and after a couple seconds everything went okay, i could drive under boost fine just not at wot and full boost or i would throw a code for a few seconds.......well i passed smog threw my greddy bov and cai back on there and everything seems fine except for i feel as thought i have some power loss  any clues??? or ideas??? please help im confused

one more note...... sorry
my boost gauge is offset. when my car is off it reads 3 vac.... my gauge is a 30 vac 20 psi gauge so since its mechanical do i just subtract 3 off of whatever boost reading i have (which is what i've been doing) or is that not going to work seeing as its not equal throughout? I know just get a new one, but until then how do I read this offset? thank you and again sorry for the long post please reply on one or any of the three thank you

Thread starter:

First problem...not a problem.

Second problem...pull the stored codes from the ECU and go from there.

Third problem...the manufacturer will often replace gauges, or you can buy another one.
