check engine light question

i was looking at my chilton manual to determine if i could figure out why my engine light is on. according to teh manual my year model is the model where you cant count how many times it flashes to determine whats wrong with it, but its the first model with the change. i was wondering if my car was one of the first cars to be manufactured in 1995 if it still might have the same check engine light of the 1994 models.

Go some place such as pep boys, midas, etc that has free CEL checking. Or find someone with a code reader, much simpler.

Yeah, many places offer it. Some have signs posted, others you have to ask about.

All 95-99 420A NT are supposed to have it (due to being a Chysler engine) so try it here: 2GNT.com - PCM_Error_Codes.
If it doesn't work you may be right that the very early 95's didn't support it.
