Okay, so this is my first engine lift/build
and .. im kinda scared to continue lifting it out till i know for sure im doing it right.. When im cranking the lift up.. Its pulling the engine out from the driver's side motor mount, so its slanted. Is this normal?

Well first, all wires SHOULD be disconnected used the forums and ALLDATA diagrams to take them off with. (disconnected every wire they said to disconnect)

2nd- I disconnected the A/C compressor and ziptied it out of the way, Power steering bracket was moved out of the way.

3rd- Exhaust is disconnected from block

4th- All 4 motor mounts are takin care of.

5th - Axles were pulled out

the vid is rather dark but when pulling the motor it should lift the front first and the tranny should follow. its a rather tight fit. you did take the axles out right? they make a leveler for pulling motors if you need it level after pulling it

yes sorry i forgot, Pulled the Axles Out both sides

just a few tips make sure you have un hooked the fuel line where it hooks in to the fuel rail. also the ground wire that hooks to the top of of the intake manifold.also when lifting it out make sure you un hooked all the sensors on the back of the motor. some of these things are easy to over look. it is allways good to recheck. good luck:thumb:
