alright, bear with me fellas. i bought this car used and wrecked. 95 eclipse nt with a 420a. The girl I bought it off of had managed to rip out a couple of gears before wrecking it. So, naturally, I went and found a transmission, rebuilt it and had it put in. It did great for the first day when i drove it home. The next day I drove a 40 mile route to school (I'm a college commuter) and it did fine. Did fine on the way home too. I stopped and put gas in it 87 octane because i haven't got many mods and gas just shot up 1.50 here, to over 3 dollars a gallon. on the way to the house from the gas station, I noticed a little bit of something that i never seen ... ever. The rpms dropped from 4k to 3.5 k while i held the accelerator steady. I figured might be some water in the gas. Bought some fuel injection cleaner, STP. The next morning on the way to work, I noticed it a couple more times. Same thing. I came home after work, and checked everything. Clutch fluid was low because the shop i went to didn't fill it back up. Topped it off, as well as the oil (just put in a new valve cover gasket to stop oil leak) and went on about my business. I put on a set of Douglas performance gt-h tires just because the old tires were worn out. The next morning I went to work and it got progressively worse. Got to where the thing would jump 1000 or 1500 rpms. So after work I made the 3 minute drive to advance auto. The ecu threw codes for ignition coil b, o2 sensor heater (aftermarket exhaust no rear o2), and manufacturer control iginition system or misfire. p0352, p0135, and p1391. A mechanic test drove it and it died on him 3 times within 15 minutes of his shop. I made it the 30 minute drive home without killing it, but the thing is acting worse and worse. This morning, did some checking and spark wires were not clicked onto coil pack. Fixed that. Checked plugs, all great. No Oil Leaks! Checked connection to ecu, checked tb was fine. I've got a coil pack on the way, but some people said it could be my ecu failing? After doing everything but replacing the coil pack(yet) I thought I'd take it for a spin and see if it fixed it. Pulled out of my drive way and it jerked like a beast. Died less than a minute from my house. Please help.
