Hey guys, I have a quick question. I am just about to finish my long block build, now I am on to the tranny and supporting mods. Anyhow, i plan on about another year before I am even planning on installing the engine and starting it, more than likely a little longer. So My question is storage, my garage is not heated, and it does get cold here in the winters. I don't have any problems putting it in the house if that is best. Next should the engine have any oil or anything else in it for that period of time. The entire engine has been rebuild if that matters, thanks guys.

So the motor is a complete long block? If so then you should be fine, throw some wd-40 on the block and thats about it, or you could spray paint the block. Anything that will rust, coat it with paint or wd-40. Being in a warmer place is nice, but not needed. Just make sure you had rotate it a few times before you prime the motor for oil.
