ok i tried searching out the problem but not luck so here goes... the car will stat right up and ideal fine but the second i bring the rpms up over 2k and let of it will stall out and some times die and others it will save its self ...the volts will drop down to about 12.9 than re cop. i have 32 as a rawthrtl value o% closed and 88% at wot. any ideas what the problem could be? mods list is up 2 date, it does it wehn driving and press clutch in or when im sitting at an ideal either way. any help would be great....hell even txt me if you got an idea sense i have limited internet 585-469-1161 any time LOL

are you recirculating your bov?
check to see if you maf is plugged in.. and working

mine came unplugged and would run fine until you let off the throttle after going somewhere

Check your ISC like stated above.

Do a Boost leak test, check your vacuum lines, plugs and plug wires also.

Im not sure if its the same for a 2g but i would think it would be.
Maybe someone else can confirm it for you.

does he have an afr gauge to see if it is running rich? leaky injectors could cause a problem....

sounds like it is bogging even when off boost.

Is that 2000 going to boost or just 2000 normal acceleration without boost? without an afr reading, could be many things.

If he is boosting, could be a leak but if off boost would cause it to run lean. Need more info.

Mods list says he has a wideband.

he didnt say if he had any leaks or if it was even running rich when it was stalling or if this happened coming off boost. all his first post said is sometimes it dies after he gets above 2000 and lets off the pedal. May or may not be building boost. I could be that his idle screw is not properly adjusted or a few other things. he may want to check the throttle valve and see if it is dirty.

I am assuming since he never said he was running rich on or off boost, it is an idle control issue or just a good valve cleaning may help.

+1

May be a vacuum leak too.
Or the MAF or BOV wot the others wrote ;)

Is your oil milky?
Was the oil on the top of the plug or on the electrode?

If it was on top you need a new valve cover gasket set.

think my headgasket is toast only 125 psi on comp test and the plugs wher covered in oil

sounds like your engine is basically blown. Low compression could mean headgasket, rings, hole in pistons. If the oil is just on top, change the valve cover gasket and sparkplug tube seals. If the oil is on the electrode itself, you have a blown motor and the low compression is a sign of it. More than likely, you are going to need to just rebuild it from the ground up. Worse case situation, of course.

well i took the car to local performance shop turns out i must have a bad comp tester caust they came back with 150ish acrossed all 4.....still dieing on quick release of throttle. it does it either under boost or not, no boost leaks maf is in good working order only thing i havent got around to checking is the isc yet altho i do unplugg it and it doesent make a diffrernse so sounds like that might be it i will kepp yall posted
