Ok I have a 96 GS Eclipse. There seems to be a problem that kinda just came out of no where the past few days. When I push the clutch to the floor and take my foot off the gas the engine revs up to 2k and hangs there for bout 15 seconds just long enough to come to a complete stop and then continues for 2-3 seconds after I have completely stopped. The guy i bought the car off had a brand new fuel pump put in and i was wondering if the fuel pump could be sending too much fuel to the engine (cause i have no idea what kind of fuel pump it is) . I just changed the plugs and plug wires and the plugs were too hot (blistered and white ends) . So if anyone has any ideas on this just let me know cause i have no idea and its really starting to get on my nerves a bit LOL
