I recently went the jdm engine install route in my 2g gsx. I start the car and give it about 3-4 minutes to warm up. Once i get about 100 feet or shit into the reverse, the car completely stalls??????? I have to throw it back into park before the car catches gear and after that it drives perfectly. This is also an automatic tranny.

Are there some things i check to see what's causing this? Or is a new transmission in my future?

Don't forget, 'JDM' means 'Japanese junkyard motor', despite what the Honda kids tell you.

Check all the vacume lines the idle changes fron drive to park and if you have a vacume leak the idle will drop off and the car will die..

thanks for the suggestions, i reused my original intake to avoid the cyclone mess.
