engine rebuild, act clutch, lightened fly wheel!

was up fellas! My engine is about to it 100,000 i just went to the shop and got the price quote on getting the engine rebuilt, a new act clutch and a lightened fly wheel to be installed. All that for about 5,000. For the turbo he recommended a 18g or 20g. He says the price for both are about the same. it is gonna be my daily driver and the weekend track racer. What turbo would you go with? I would also like some tips as to what you all would add on to the motor while it is being rebuilt. I am trying to keep the internals as stock as possible. Thanx

Why are you getting a rebuild if the motor is still up and running?? I have a 135K on mine and luckily no problems has occurred. Unless you are doing it for a performance upgrade I don't see the need to do a rebuild.

What mods do you have?? Because unless like your engine no need to do a clutch unless your are upgrading or your clutch is going/gone.

If you are looking at a 20g go with a 50 trim. It newer technology and can outflow the 20g. Its close in price and IMO outperforms the 20g.

that price does sound really high. i would check around with some other shops. if your gonna get a new turbo go with a 20g as long as you have the fuel support it will take you just that little but further

Yeah that is expensive for a stock rebuild and clutch install.

Pay me $4500 and I will fly to Texas and rebuild your engine and include a clutch and flywheel and reinstall it in the car.
