engine question

okay im obviously a newbie to this site also to dsm's. and i know i should be posting this in a different thread section but im not aloud to yet. the run down is i have a 87 isuzu pup and i took a crashed 94 eagle talon awd and parted it out. im putting the motor and wiring harness in the pup. i am putting a evo mr9 turbo on it what do i need to go along with the turbo and the 2nd part of the question is what do i need to go along with a chipped ecu and what do the dsm's do for chipping

As far as using an Evo9 turbo, you realize it's backwards from the standard DSM turbo, right? That you have to install it the other way, and that because of that, it will get in the way of other things? Also, you'll need an Evo manifold, since the turbine inlet flange footprint is different from a standard DSM inlet flange. You'll also need the O2 housing, since it's also different.

As far as chipping is concerned, check into a Keydiver chip. Remember to have all the supporting modifications to run the Evo9 turbo, if you indeed find a way to install it.

Your intake throttle body will also be facing the firewall. But you can find intakes that work. You of course need a 190 l.p.h or 255 fuel pump. You need the complete wiring harness, inter cooler and piping and a transmission from a Mighty max. They make a wide block and a normal size block so you need to do some research on the bell housings that you will most likely need. Also you will need the drive shaft .
