im new to this site and have a question, i bought a 92 eagle talon non-turbo and was wondering what motor it had in it, it is a dohc motor and the dsm plate reads 4g63, ive always owned a honda and acura and have no idea of this car, if so what are the diffs in the motors. I only paid $300 for the car and it needs a transmission, it has a five speed but does run good and the body has no dents or dings and the usual fade on the black, Was this a good buy?

you just answered your own question hahahha your motor is a 4g63 non-turbo. its a 2.0liter engine. you should try and find yourself a 4g63T swap to swap into your car. but you'll need:
4g63T motor
tranny
ecu
axels
and i think you might need the turbo engine harness

to me $300 for a non turbo is not a bad buy. but like i said if you have the money you should turn it into a FWD turbo
