Engine Damper Availablility

i need to get an engine damper for my motor. i dont have the resources to get and install the aftermarket motor mounts right now. so i wanted to do an engine damper for the time being. i've got buddies with hondas and they make a big difference with shifts and such. i've searched an haven't come up with much if anything at all. is anyone using one? i haven't found a specific kit for our cars at all. i might try out a kit for a civic or something and try and rig it up. anything is better than whats goin on with my piece right now . any help would be awesome!

Good dampers (e.g., Ingalls) cost a lot more than urethane motor mounts plus installation. And I've never seen anything for DSMs, anyway. Plus, our firewall probably isn't strong enough and other side is too far away.

You could always rig up a chain for very little $$$ and see if that helps.
