I'm considering putting the clutch damper back on. I have a single plate 6 puck on my street driver, and it's a serious pain in the ass. Only concern I have is excessive heat build-up on the flywheel and PP surface

I was looking for feedback from any other members with high powered DSMs if they decided to still run the factory unit, rather than just delete it.
Otherwise, I might consider using an adjustable hydraulic flow valve with a check valve bypass. Thoughts?

From what I have read, if you use a puck disk in a street car that is driven all the time you will burn through it. I believe 6 puck disks are more for drag racing. I would just stick with a street disk. Are you running a stock flywheel and pressure plate with a 6 puck?
