1G engine cuts out

driving on a fresh rebuild. engine has 80 miles. runs good and boosts fine. i had idle surge and planned on removing the lower half of the throttle body. i removed the lower half of the the throttle body and the surge went away. great. i was happy. i went for a drive and gave it some some gas. shifted into third and gave it a little more. i only went to 5k on 7-10psi. i let off and my engine RPM's drop severely and then it dies. some times it only drops the rpm real low. other times the engine dies. i think its a lack of air that the engine is getting. not sure how to fix it.

Is your car manual or auto? I'm assuming its manual...do you happen to have a lightened or aluminum flywheel?

Is your car running on a stock ecu?

Is your BOV recirced?

Could also be a vaccum leak.

it is a manual. i have the stock flywheel. a vaccum leak is possible. i can hear a slight hissing from the bay and also i can hear it from the exhuast. im running the stock ecu with an AFC. the BOV is recirculated but its an aftermarket ebay brand. im thinking of jut putting my stock 1g BOV back on.

1G Stock is the way to go my friend.

Check around your Throttle Body. Do a BLT with soapy water.

Removing the lower half of the throttle body also eliminates the ISC which is used to manage the idle and to emulate a dashpot to avoid stalling like this.

Clean up your grammar and punctuation while your at it, and check your o2 sensor as well.
