so im kinda stumpt when i begin to build boost my car cuts out (at 2.5 psi)and kinda chugs for a second. i thought maybe a boost leak so i checked all couplers and nothing. does anybody have a clue?

How did you go about "checking" the couplers? did you just tighten them? Or, take them off and re-apply them? A proper boost leak test should be given to know exactly if they're fixed.. Also are you still running off the stock boost guage? After the car "chugs" does it pick back up and build to full boost?

i just tightened the couplers. i have an aftermarket boost gauge. no i cant build full boost i cant even get over 2.5 psi. this just happened tonight i am normally running 16 psi

boost leak tester? how would i go about doing that? it doesnt really feel like boost like ive blown a few couplers because they werent tightened and it this doesnt seem the same.... when i start to build that sad 2.5 psi it makes a flutter sound with no blow off. i really do hope it is a boost leak though haha

Almost positive that it is a boost leak. Its gotta be some where. Check your couplers again, look for rips and tears on the undersides of them, build a boost leak tester and have at it. Symptoms match what a boost leak causes.
