engine bogs and tranny problems?

Well i got an engine put in and transmission rebuilt. After that the engine kinda bogs down a little when accelerating, like when from stop or when accelerating to get on the highway. Then another problem I am having is after accelerating at a light it will shift between 1st and 2nd but occasionally it acts like it slips back into 1st gear then shifts back up soon after. sorry this may not be typed the best but it is readable

Check for Vac leaks? Maybe. Does the Tranny Shift Smooth or hard? Does it get close to redline? If it's just been rebuilt do you see it leaking any fluid anywhere? Never had an Auto Eclipse but I had an Auto Tiburon back in the day I had that tranny rebuilt and still had problem with it, Was always leaking and slipping. I had a warentee on it luckly though.

i have a warranty on so friday i will be taking it into the shop and getting them to check it out. it shifts smooth but it jerks a little when it feels like it slips back a gear. and ill get right on the vac leak testing asap

Yeah since you have a warentee id definatly just take it back to them. Trust me I know how much it cost to have them rebuild a tranny and put it in.
