I am about to do my exhaust and I planned on taking out my cat converter. I was told that once I take that out that it will throw a CEL becuase of the rear o2 Sensor. You guys familiar with this and what do i do so the CEL wont come on?

I believe VFAQ.Com has info. on this. I used that circuit with one modification. It calls for a 12 ohm, 12 watt resistor to simulate the heater. I used a 25 watt, and it still got hot enough to melt the solder joint. I used a 50 ohm/25watt and all is cool. No CEL.

and how exactly will "welding an o2 bung in the pipe itself" help get rid of a CEL from there being no cat?
