Okay - here's the situation.
My 1G had some ghetto wiring done on the alternator by the previous owner. I'm now correcting it since I now have access to a garage and my soldering tools. The problem being, in order to get the alternator out, I had to pretty much destroy the harness in that area.
What I need to know to put this damned thing back together is what color wires go where.
2 small gauge yellow wires (low negative resistance)
2 large guage white wires (low positive resistance)
I know that some of these are supposed to have round spade connectors that attach to the alternator. Which ones, I'm not sure.
On this same section of the harness are:
1 medium gauge yellow wire (plug wire 1 for alternator)
1 small gauge black wire with a white stripe (plug wire 2 for alternator)
1 small gauge teal wire (oil pressure wiring)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. My Chiltons manual has EVERY electrical diagram EXCEPT the one with the alternator.
