I am sorry for this question, looked for an answer could not find it . I have a 95 eclipse and putting in a 1g JDM 6 bolt in it. The mechanic that is doing the job says he has to do a total wire harness from the original harness to the one that was cut from the motor. Is that necassery or is there another way out of this. I have had this car now close to a yr and all i have done to it is paint the car and sit in it.
If so he says it might take longer than a week to splice all the wires to my orignal GST harness. Has ayone done this and worked. I am keeping the orginal intake Manifold with the Butterfly actuators. Any help would be good.
Thanks

as DiamondStarAwd said no - there is no need for a total harness swap.

All the sensors you use will be from the 2g motor with the exception to the cam angle sensor.

I really am not a motor man. I read a little and to me it lookd all the wireing is the cas.TSO the rest will just plug into the original 95 GST harness. :dsm:
