Ok, just got the 90 turbo laser back in action after about a year of downtime. Did a timing belt, and starter change.. (the bonus of having 4 cars... one can be down for a year and i dont mind...)

At any rate, the seatbelts are acting funny.. dont move when you open door, move when you turn car on (hit you in the back of the head)... and most recently dont move at all...

Headlights wont turn on unless car is on.. nor will they pop up.. most recently when driving they both turned off at the same time, cant be put down again..

buzzer for door open has been making funky noises.. recently stopped working...

I checked all fuses. they all look fine (not burnt out, not losse [Spelling]) upon inspection... (checked underhood at battery cable, underhood on passenger side fuse box, and under dash fuses)

The way that the seatbelt, and door buzzer sorta died gradually wierds me out.. the head lights turning off suddenly at once made me think fuse.. but no luck.

Sound familiar to anyone, or will i be chasing shorted wires for the rest of my life >< .. any hints?

Thanks for any and all help in advance.

To start with, make sure the battery cables have been taken off and cleaned on both ends and the battery posts. Also make sure the grounding wire from the engine to the body is good (and clean connections) and from the battery to the body. 90% of all weird electrical problems are due to bad connections especially grounds to the body frame. Good luck.

I'll second this.Usually any time you have a cluster of seemingly unrelated problems or just strange problems in general, a ground is the culprit.

tested more.. grounds seam fine. radio does work, ignition does work, motor runs, dummie lights work.

guage lights dont work, power windows dont work, power locks dont work, so on and so on...most everything else doesnt work. any help?
