I am looking into geting an EGT for my car and was wondering which ones people have and how they like them or would suggest a different. thanks guys

I have a Westach and I barely use it, and if I do use it, the EGT temps dont even correspond with the timing/knock counts on the logger. Datalogger and boost is all you need and wideband if you can afford it.

I'll agree with that. When I first got my EGT gauge, my readings were very high, so I thought I was running lean and getting timing pulled. After heading out to the dyno, I discovered that it was because I was running super rich (leftover combustion still happening as exhaust gases exited into the manifold). After leaning out considerably, EGTs came back in line.gotswrv said:As a danger guage an EGT is great. For tuning its dangerous.
