egt placement question

i bought a manifold off the net used and the guy i bought it from has the hole taped for a egt in the numbe 4 cylender if i run the egt in number 4 cylender are the readings going to be way wrong compaired to number 1.

They may be a bit lower but they won't be off by a huge amount. Every car is different.
