EGT gauge electrical install

I am hooking up an EGT gauge and need to know where is there a constant 12v source I can hook up the gauge to, not for the lights but the gauge it self. Where is a good spot to hook in?

I tapped mine into the the turbo timer/ignition

its not a constant constant 12volts, but it works when the key is on.
get yourself a test light if you dont have one already

I took @ my second car --> galant, from the parking lights power... so they are allways on when i switch light to park or driving position... and shut's down when turn light completely off...

so what about the daytime when you dont drive with lights?
you gauges dont work?

gauges have potentiometer to make the glow off or more to glow more
.... then @ day time meter is white

and btw.... here u have to keep lights on even @ daytime... so lights are allways on =
