Hello DSM tuners. i just purchased my 97 gst about a week ago. I LOVE it. The only problem is this damn egr valve check engine light. I drove it home fine. The next day i hear a pop in the engine bay. One of the EGR valve vacuum lines it cut or it like exploded.. So i replaced it, took off the EGR valve and cleaned it and cleared the code which was 2 codes. One was a fault- p0400 and one was a pend- p0400. after about 43 miles the light comes back on! Makes me want to die! I checked the tests that have been run. It says EGR-not ready. EVAP-not ready. So idk whats going on. The EGR valve line the blew was the bottom one. I need to get this light cleared so i can smog it. Please help. Im looking at new solenoids but i dont want to waste my money if you guys know whats going on. THANKS!

Easiest fix, ditch the EGR and all emissions equipment. LOL

Oh btw. I noticed something else. When I saw the popped line, I didn't know exactly where it was run to. Does the bottom egr valve tube run straight to the solenoid or is it t fitted to the solenoid and the manifold?
