1G ECU question swapping ECU ATX to MTX

ok i have a 91 talon tsi and i want to change my ecu from a automatic one which came with the car.... to one that came out of a manual fwd talon..... will the ecu swap work... i am swaping injectors and cams so i need the 5spd one to tell it, it has bigger injectors
so is ther any options if i cant use the manual fwd ecu..... other than dsmlink...

AWD vs. FWD won't matter, I had a AWD ECU in my FWD before too, with no problems.

In the auto's I believe the TCU controls all matters of shifting, and it doesn't communicate with the ECU. So M/T and A/T SHOULDN"t Matter .. BUT see below

Only problem you have is the 1G's manual and automatics both have different injector sizes. The auto's came with the 390's, manuals 450's. So you probably will be running rich. Unless you can adjust.

I asked him and he is swapping the 450cc's from the donor car also so he should be fine as far as fueling is concerned.
