ok i have a dsm ecu the front numbers are rubbed off the only numbers are on the side.here they are i hope you guys can help. 6263 then under that e2t36577e.

MD166263 E2T36577 6/90-6/92 California MT 1G DSM Turbo AWD ECU
There should be a matching 6577E on the top of the white connector once you open the case up if the circuit board matches the case.

If the connector says 6577E then there should be a large rectangular 28 pin chip with E931 printed on it. Installing a 1k 1/4Watt resistor at R129 wiil make it a Federal ECU.

With the resistor installed it will work in your car without throwing a EGR CEL.
