ecu has phone wire

i got a ecu for a 1g talon. pluged it in and it works but it pegs the factory boost gauge and has a phone wire like what you would plug into a wall or the back of my laptop anybody know what it is

possibly a data logging cable. where did you get the ECU?

out of a car my buddy got. it is a eprom and looks to have been chiped it has BM or BP on the chip

Its for a cat5 cable I beleive or a null cable for programming the eprom
