I have tried everything and cannot get any data loggers to work with my car. Then today as I was installing my S-AFC I noticed that wire number 1 (white) was cut. When I looked up what that wire is for on the vfaq it says "self diagnosis". I don't see the other end of the wire anywhere, does anyone know where it should run to?

you are correct sir! thank you! it was wire 2. but running it straight to my diagnostic port didn't work.

I'm going to try hooking my logger up the diagnostic port, then ground the white wire right at the ecu and see if that works?

Hey just a thought. When mine woudnt work i had to run a hot wire to pin 16. In your case being a 1g your positive is pin#1. I wasnt getting any juice.Thats on the diagnostic port. Also you might want to search on the byte/interpacket delay test for your palm. Som people have to do this to connect.
