not to change the thread subject but i dont think this ecu is working right.is there any one on here that repairs them or do i have to buy a new one.

Dave Mertz. He is awesome to deal with, and has a very quick turnaround. While your at it, if it is an eprom, get it socketed. [email protected]

yea its non eprom ,md166260 .getting price from dave(just emailed him thanks) and also looking around for an eprom ecu.

Damn steve, you almost scare me at times with your knowledge of these dsm ecu's.

what are the advantages of eprom over non-eprom?
Simple answer, the EPROM ECU can be rechipped giving you full control over the way the ECU behaves.
