Resolved ECU DSMLink?

I bought this car back in summer and he was trying to sell the car for 7000 dollars.. he said he was running 750cc injectors and dsmlink v2.5..

I told him id buy 5000 cash and he said okay.

Well, i been messing around inside my car and going thru wiring and stuff. And well, i was wondering if theres anyway to check to see if he left the socketed ecu / dsmlink while its in the car..?

Or is the only way i can tell is if i take the ecu out of the car and open it up..
And how easy/hard is it to take the ecu out of the car?

It is behind the radio. You have to take off both of the side panels in the foot wells to access it. There will be 2 bolts on the drivers side and 1 bolt on the passengers side. Then unplug the 4 connectors and slide it out towards the drivers side.
