ECU AF splice

This is ridiculous. I'm installing an autometer af gauge. I have power and ground done, but now need to hook up the o2 wire. I cant even get close to getting at the wire. I know which one it is, but I can't get to it. I dont have enough slack on my ecu wires to do anything.

Is there another place to hook up the 02 wire besides the ecu. I know that the ecu is probaly the best, but is there an alternative. Or, is there something I'm doing improperly?

This should be a simple task, but its turning into a pain in my ass.

its easy.. i did my autometer a/f and boost yesterday.. that o2 sensor wire is short but u gotta just get down in there and do it man... put a male on the end of your wire and plug right into that white female connector, or cut and splice and or solder... good luck

Aside from the gauge being completely worthless, just unplug the ECU plug that the wire is on, it will give you a littl more room.

You can go the ecu route or you can go the passenger side kick panel route. I chose the passenger side.

They'll be a white connector that's not hooked to anything. Remove the passnger side kick panel and reach up in there and try and pull everything down for a better look... look carefully sometimes it gets taped and and it tends to hide. Connect your O2(purple)wire into the with a male connector and tape her up and you're good to go. Don't freak out if your guage doesn't start dancing as soon as you turn it on, your O2 sensor needs time to warm up. Hoped that helped.

Which connector are you referring to. The white connector is already there from the factory. That's the connector you'll want to hook the Purple wire into. The hardest part is finding the damn thing tucked up in the kick panel. Just look closely.
